- [Narrator] We've covered a couple of different ideation tools in this course. We focused on the Design Charrette technique because it easily demonstrates the most important part of ideation. That is, letting every one have a say and then combining that information to create a better design than any one individual could have thought of. The Design Charrette is also the technique that most people on your team are likely to be happy with as their first introduction to ideation. However, once you've performed a couple of rounds of Charrettes with the team you might find it helpful to introduce the other techniques we've talked about here. Possible futures, competing products, three-dimensional design or acting out the system. Each of these techniques brings out different elements of your team's creativity.
