- [Instructor] What we're looking at here is a query that allows us to run data quality checks for our data inside of Snowflake. It relates to the concept of observability and data quality. Observability and data quality are important for ensuring the reliability and integrity of any data driven system. Observability provides deep insights into the health, performance, and behavior of data pipelines. It allows you to detect and diagnose issues quickly, and data quality is more about checking whether the information that's being processed is accurate, consistent, and trustworthy. Both of these combined give you sort of the full picture of how your data is doing. This query you're seeing here essentially tries to do that for two fields.
