What is the risk of trusting an AI output without checking it? Well, I mean, it could cost you your job. And in many cases, it's costing people their jobs, it's costing people their school, people who are using AI in a manner that there is no governance, there is no protocol for them to check in for hallucinations or to verify the output. AI is a tool. AI is a platform. Yes, you could argue it's a learning organism of some kind, but as infinite as it is, it still fundamentally lacks certain things. And those certain things may be areas where you are deeply interested in or need information that it simply is lacking, because it hasn't been fed that information. It hasn't had that experience yet through somebody else or through that prompt. And so even if you are prompting with the best strategic questions possible, you should still also verify.
