- [Instructor] In the previous chapter, I talked about resolution in images. In this video, I'm going to dig into images when used in the design system in more general terms. So here are some useful pointers when it comes to integrating images into your UX design project. First off images are self contained stories. When you look at an image on a device or webpage, that image tells the story of the topic at hand, it also enhances the UX because it supports the experience you are presenting and also supports the brand. Use the wrong image, and you've lost your user. For example, let's assume the project has a page that deals with cafes in Barcelona, Spain. This image on the left of the entrance to Casa Lola supports the story. The image on the right doesn't because it may indeed be shot in a cafe. But other than that, there is nothing that supports the topic, Cafes in Barcelona. Image size really does matter. So…
