- Imagine you have been invited to direct a symphony concert. Now, you can't just give your musicians a list of song and say, "Play." There has to be a process in place, a script for the concert detailing when the violins come in or when it's time for a drum solo. In a similar fashion, defining and scoping your project is crucial for its success, especially in a hybrid environment. First, let's talk about conducting a hybrid feasibility study. This step is analogous to choosing which instruments and pieces best suit your concert. You should assess whether hybrid approach suits the project at all. Is it too small for Waterfall's detail planning, or perhaps too volatile for Agile's adaptability? Once you establish that the hybrid approach is the right fit, move on to splitting the work.
