- [Presenter] Have you ever had to reach a destination in your vehicle when GPS services were unavailable? If you're my age or older, you spent much time driving using physical maps to reach your destination. Can you imagine getting to a destination before physical maps were widely available? Then, you depended upon word of mouth instructions about landmarks and literal milestones. Implementing and maintaining an AI risk management framework can be similarly tricky without a map to interconnect risk management activities throughout the AI lifecycle. AI actors with responsibility in the deployment phase need visibility into the impacts and risks defined in the design phase and vice versa. A lack of visibility across the AI lifecycle for all members can lead to uncertainty about the integrity of risk decisions and activities.
