- By this point in the course, we've learned what bias is, that we're all biased, and we've identified common examples of unconscious bias. So what do we do with all of this newfound information? First, disrupt unconscious bias by increasing our awareness and then finding evidence that challenges those biases. Remember, unconscious bias runs rampant when we forget to bring decision making into conscious thought process. Biases are reinforced when we allow ourselves to continue functioning with them unchallenged. Let's stop it early. Second, we have to stay in growth mode. Remember that learning is a continuous journey, not a destination. I get so many questions about what's the next right thing to do. And there is no one thing. You have so many options before you.
