- [Instructor] What could go wrong with printing with your remote users? Well, a lot of things could go wrong. One of those things could be, won't print at all. You could check the connection and swap out the cables, check the print status that the printer is ready. All of these different devices have built in websites as well, so if you can get the print status to print, then you can find out what IP address it's connected to, if it's using wifi or ethernet, and then you can log into the website to get a better idea when remoting into the staff's computer. I've seen many times that printers that are remote are trying to print to the wrong port. You may have a USB printer and it might be trying to print ethernet or it might be printing to an older LPT port, something like that, and that would cause the printer to definitely not print properly.
