- Just like we wear our seat belts in the car, we need to make sure we have cybersecurity built into our daily activities, in today's connected world, cybersecurity is important, and I'd like to thank you all for watching this course and invite you to connect with me on LinkedIn or check out some of the other resources I've put together with my company at opticcyber.com/resources. What I hope you've gotten out of this class is that cybersecurity doesn't have to be scary or overwhelming. Start small and build support from within by focusing on what matters to your business. While businesses largely need to achieve the same cybersecurity outcomes, everyone is going to implement them differently. Remember to focus on managing your risk, not necessarily what you're seeing in the news. If you're gathering weather data that will be shared publicly, you're not going to care as much about the confidentiality of that data as a government contractor working on classified aircraft components…
