The transformational leader within you

- Hello, fellow transformational leader. American poet Mary Oliver asked in her poem, "The Summer Day": "Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?" Steve Jobs said it in a different way: "I want to make a ding in the universe." I'm so grateful for the opportunity that you've given me to exercise my purpose, to connect deeply and inspire transformational leaders who create a better world for all. Know that you are important, no matter what level you are in the organization. You're important because you want to make a difference. If you do nothing else, remember to start each day connecting with your purpose and vision. Take a minute now and write it down on a post-it. Keep it where you will see it often. It might nag at you, it may inspire you to take a risk. It will cause you to get up when you fail, it will call you forth. Find a way to share this course with others and help them discover what's important to them. Because that's what leaders do, they grow other leaders. I want to end with a quote from Mother Teresa that motivates me every single day: "Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love." I hope you'll find the courage and confidence to be the transformational leader that I know you can be. Please connect with me on LinkedIn. Join thousands of other transformational leaders who follow me on my blog. May you make your ding in the universe.
