Capturing a tiny planet video

(bright music) - [Instructor] When capturing a tiny planet video, it's really important that the camera stays stable. Here, I'm using a weighted plate from Platypod and a selfie stick from Insta360. You could really use any of these though, as Insta360 is designed to automatically remove the stick from the shot. When you place your camera, try to put it in the center of the action. Here, we're working in a skate park, so this is going to make it easy for me to really see the whole scene. Now our subject just tries to ride through. Be sure to get a few takes as you might want to experiment with the options that you capture. After a warmup, we continue to keep shooting. Using your phone, you can wirelessly preview the footage after the fact. You can't actually watch it as it's recording, as it's a lot of data, but you can check it and tweak the camera position as needed. In this case, the camera's really light, but…
