- Sometimes how you and your team react to an issue has less to do with the objective realities that are involved which might include deadlines, budgets, technological, or logistical challenges and so on, and more to do with how we think and feel about those issues. That is one of the most powerful insights in all of management theory. Stated differently, reality matters but how you help others think and feel about it is what really matters. So let's talk about shaping perspective in a way that's productive for your team. By perspective, I'm referring to your general positive or negative choice in terms of how you think about a particular thing.
