You can choose a different approach. One grounded in integrity. This is where the mere agreement principle comes in. This means getting a micro yes to build agreement step-by-step. Getting small yeses allows you to make bigger requests without triggering resistance. Before diving into a criticism, maybe you say, "Can we review your recent designs together?" So it feels like a collaboration, not an attack. Instead of laying out an entire plan, get buy-in on the need for a solution first.
