- Let's try a calming skill of galactic proportions. Start by closing your eyes with a big breath in and a big breath out to close your eyelids. Bring to mind something that's shaking up your mind, keeping you from that calm, peaceful state you desire. Place that issue in the palm of your hands. Now, lay it in front of you. Imagine yourself zooming out of this room, seeing every particle in the room, including that issue. Now, zoom out of this building. You can still see the issue is inside the building, but now it's a lot smaller. Zoom out a little more so you can see an aerial view of the building, almost like a satellite view, where you see the trees surrounding it, the roads beside it, and the issue inside it. Broaden your view now onto a city view. The multitude of buildings, highways, schools, parks, and people in this land. Try and locate the issue from this point of view. Much smaller now. Zoom out to see the entire country. Take a breath if you haven't yet, and zoom out…
