- What comes to mind when you think of the word manage? When we manage a project, we actively direct activities to achieve our desired outcome. We have a sense of responsibility and accountability for guiding how the project moves forward, but we rarely take that same responsibility and accountability when it comes to directing or managing our own mindset. When we're aware of what we think, we can start to make shifts in how we think. When those negative stories and self-sabotaging thoughts enter your mind and cause you to shrink, or what my mentor, Marshon Evans Daniels calls shrinking thinking, what do you do with them? Here's an approach I've developed that's helped me take control of my thoughts.
