- Now that you have more clarity on your story as you navigate career challenges, let's discuss who to share that with. It's essential to correctly identify where people are in your network to help you manage expectations around the kind of support you'll receive from them. I created this pyramid of support framework to help you categorize who is in your network and where potential gaps might be. How do you know who supports you? The clearest sign of support is investment. When people invest their time, expertise, relationship capital or money in you, it's clear that they support you. Let's take a look at each of the levels to help you gain clarity on your network. This first level are spectators. Now, they may say things like, "Hey, it's good to see you."
