- Now that you have more clarity on who's in your pyramid of support, let's discuss how to maintain these relationships. Most people fail in the follow up when it comes to networking. When we think of networking particularly doing a career challenge, it's just as important to cultivate our current relationships as it is to meet new people to expand our network. Following up with your network helps you focus on the depth versus the breadth of your connections. Fill in this blank. It's not what you know.
