How to handle boredom: Part 2

- Last time on The Practicing Photographer, I gave you permission to get bored with photography. Not that you need my permission for anything, but it was my hope that telling you that boredom is normal and any creative pursuit would take away some of the stress that can come with not feeling inspired to pursue something that you're normally really interested in. Being bored can be problem enough. Worrying about being bored is just a waste of time. As we discussed, it can sometimes be tricky to recognize that you're bored. Boredom can sneak up on you. At other times, it can be painfully, frustratingly obvious. In either case, getting rid of it, getting inspired again, that can take some work. Today, I figured I'd try leading by example, because earlier this year I found myself extremely bored with shooting. Not post-production or printing, just shooting, but it turns out that if you don't shoot, you got nothing to print.…
