- When it comes to the future of workforce learning, it is certainly an exciting place to be. Never before have so many possibilities become realities, and the velocity of change is only going to increase. That said, it's important to exercise some caution. It can become all too easy to fall in love with a new piece of technology in an exhibition hall or be fascinated by a product demo. The reality is, the strategies we build and the programs we launch will have a real impact on real people. If we find it hard to keep up with the pace of development, imagine how challenging it is for someone who's not engaged with technology on a daily basis at all. Perhaps they work on a factory floor, in retail, or in a restaurant. Automation or AI might only be a spec on the horizon, and we have to be mindful of this.
