- You've probably been exposed to artificial intelligence in some form or another. Perhaps you used an AI tool to plan a family vacation or even to help with scheduling meetings. It's no secret that AI is rapidly changing the way we work and live, but what specifically will it do for the future of workforce learning? Of course, there is no crystal ball, but there are some likely guesses. For one thing, natural language processing, or NLP, a type of AI and machine learning is the ability of a computer to understand, analyze, and produce human language. So you could provide some personal details and anecdotes, and an NLP could write the text for a thank you speech. This opens up many possibilities for L and D. With the right prompts, an NLP could create course content or even an entire curriculum.
