- The new era of work has arrived. It feels different, right? It is. The pandemic accelerated the arrival of the future of work as we integrated more technology into business operations, changing the nature, speed, and processes of work, what we're doing, how we're doing in managing it, who we're doing it with, when, and where. Hi, I'm Sophie Wade, a Work Futurist and Workforce Innovation Specialist. I help employers and employees understand, transition to, and excel in our evolving work environments. Our working lives have changed dramatically. The good news is that this new highly digitized business environment is balanced by a human centric orientation emphasizing talent so we can collaborate and respond rapidly. All this means focusing on new and specific skills. It can feel messy as we transform and transition, but we have already been practicing important skills like flexibility, empathy, and problem solving. This course will help you cultivate and practice the skills you need to succeed in this new era of work.
