From the course: The Freelance Stack: Real Project with Next.js and Strapi

Course intro

If you're interested in becoming a freelance developer and you already have some React experience under your belt, then this course is perfect for you. As far as I know, it's the only course out there that actually takes you through the different development stages of a freelancer, going from an initial design to a full stack customizable application you can hand over to your client. In other words, we're gonna be going from an initial Figma design file to a full stack Next.js website connected to a Strapi backend. This is the exact stack that I've been using for the last three years while freelancing. And it gives you the best of both worlds. On one hand side, it gives you a great developer experience with full flexibility. And on the other hand, it gives your client the ability to update and make any changes on the site as if it was built on a website builder like WordPress, Squarespace, Wix, or whatever. The course is designed in a way that in each section, you're going to learn something new without ever being overwhelmed by newly added complexity. I want you to have a smooth and enjoyable learning journey. And at the end of it, you should look back and realize you can now create any kind of website you want with the newly learned Freelance Stack. Now, besides freelancing, my background is in education. I've taught hundreds of students how to code at various bootcamps like General Assembly and Master School. And this course is the result of those years of experience teaching. Basically, I wanted to create the kind of course that I wanted to have when I started out my freelance journey. Back then, I had lots of questions around like, how can I actually deliver a website that I can code up from scratch and give it to somebody that never coded in their life? Like how can I deliver something to a non-technical person? And I think this question is going to be answered in this course and a lot, a lot more. But if there's anything that you think I can improve on or add to the course, Feel free to reach out to me whether it's on Twitter, whether it's on Udemy, it doesn't matter and I always make sure that I keep the course up to date. Otherwise, there's nothing else left to say except I really hope you're going to enjoy the course and I'll see you in the first video lecture.
