- [Instructor] If you're under say, 30 years old, then you grew up in the influencer world where a lot of very enthusiastic people share videos on social media, often on specific topics like fashion, beauty, fitness, food, or travel, and often while wearing hats. But there are also financial influencers or people who give advice and reviews on managing money, choosing credit cards or loans, or making investments. They may or may not be licensed financial professionals, although given the tight regulations about the financial world, even if they are licensed, they nearly always have to specify that they're not giving professional advice in their videos, but rather discussing general topics that they believe are important.
