(light music) - You've talked a lot about the innovation that we need across all levels of this technology stack. From manufacturing to design to devices. Innovation isn't free. We need to invest in coming up with new ideas and preparing new technologies and getting them to the point where they can be deployed. How are we going to do that? - Yeah, great question. The investments have come about from, from all sectors of the semiconductor industry, from government, over many years. But the scale at which those innovations have been funded has not compared to some of the other top performers in semiconductor manufacturing across the globe. And so over the past several years, there's been recognition that we need to amp it up. Industry has invested heavily internally into developing the products and bringing things to where they are now. There's been a phenomenal amount of research at the university and national lab level, at least in the United States. We have that kind of structure…
