(upbeat music) (gentle music) - There are a number of like-minded nations that have CHIPS Act, and that are working together towards similar objectives. And among those are Japan and Taiwan and Korea and Europe and India. And we're finding more and more interest in partnering, so that we can accomplish our objectives and do it in the most effective way. So, two examples. One is a program that was announced at the G7 last May. It's the Japan UPWARDS Initiative. It consists of five Japanese universities, six US universities, it's funded by the US National Science Foundation, and two companies, Micron and Tokyo Electron. Both Micron and Tokyo Electron have a strong presence in Japan, and in the US. They have workforce needs in both countries. Both companies want to tap the research expertise of faculty and the universities in both countries. So we're very much looking to work together towards similar goals under that umbrella.
