Successful transition elements
- "Fortune favors the prepared mind." That's a quote by Louis Pasteur, the scientist who invented, among other things, a way to keep products, such as milk, safe by a process that bears his name, pasteurization. Pasteur believed that his inventions were not random strokes of luck. He believed that his preparation allowed him to take advantage of what he observed. So in this lesson, I'm going to share the power of preparation and the elements you can put in place to support your vision for moving forward. One effective technique is looking back to look forward. It's as simple as looking back at your career to date and reflecting on what worked well, where you had success, what you accomplished and what you learned. This will help you learn from experience, gain perspective and spark motivation for moving forward. Then think about the situations where things didn't go as planned. Use this long view to reframe your career, seeing how all the experiences led you to where you are today…
