Assessing organizational AI maturity isn't straightforward. It's not just about how many people are using AI tools. It's also your strategy, your governance, and ultimately whether any of it is actually delivering meaningful business value. We wanted a simple way to give leaders the complete view, to see where they stand and what to focus on next. Not aspirational statements, but an honest evaluation of where readiness actually exists. So we borrowed an idea from another world that has nailed this, the ranking system for self-driving cars. If you're not familiar with how self-driving car levels work, let's walk you through that. Level 0 means no automation. It means you're driving the car manually. As the levels increase, features start to appear like lane assist, adaptive cruise control, and automated parking.
