- There's a lot of genuine concern about AI content, both legal and ethical concerns, and where you fall might be different than where your client or the company you work for falls. So I'd like to point out that when it comes to the use of AI, there are legitimate legal and ethical considerations. On the legal front, you have to think about where did that AI get its information. A lot of AIs have come under attack for broadly sampling from copyrighted sources using information that was available on the internet, like pages and pages of websites, or eBooks, or artwork found with image searches that the AI didn't have a right to use. So while something may be derivative, if it goes too close to the original or is taken by means where the original creators weren't compensated, this could be problematic. This is one of the reasons why so many photos of generated people just look so bad. Photographers have been very wary to hand over their image rights, and different actors, actresses…
