Creating a parameter gives you a quick and visual way to change the characteristics of a top filter. If you decide you want to change the parameter, you can do so with no problem. You can also rename it or delete it, but do be aware that any filter or other operation based on the parameter will no longer work. In this movie, I will show you how to modify and delete parameters. My sample file is 06_09_Edit parameter, and you can find it in the Chapter_06 folder of the Exercise Files collection. On this worksheet, I have a parameter based on order total and I have shown the control and it's over here on the right. However, I have set it so that I only have 2 or 1 values that can be shown is currently a two, and if I click the decrease arrow, then it goes down to one and it goes up to two.
