Display the data underlying a workbook

You can use Tableau to create effective, creative visualizations. But what if you want to look at the data that underlies a visualization? You can do that inside the program through a process I'll demonstrate using the 03_01_Data workbook. You can find that sample file in the Chapter_03 folder of the Exercise Files collection. This workbook contains a summary with a visualization type called a Treemap that uses colors to indicate the count of customers for various regions. So we have South Central East, North Central East, Central East, and the others. If I want to see the data source, both the data and the structure that provides values for this visualization, then I can go to the bottom left corner of the program window and click Data Source. This takes me back to the data source page, and at the top I have the three data sources that I've combined. Orders has links through common fields to customers and to products.
