Arrange and resize dashboard elements
After you create a dashboard, you will probably want to change the size of some of its elements, move them around, or optimize for a specific device type. In this movie, I will show you how to perform those tasks. My sample file is 12_03_Move and you can find it in the Chapter_12 folder of the Exercise Files collection. I am on my workbooks dashboard sheet, and I have each of the four sheets already added to the dashboard. If I want to change the size of one of the elements, for example solar treemap, then I can click it and then move my mouse pointer over an edge. In this case, I'll do the bottom edge. And when my mouse pointer changes to a vertical white double headed arrow, I can drag up. And now I have sales by month below, which has more room, and the solar tree map up top is taking up less room. And I could do the same thing over here for sales count by customer type. If I wanted to move an element, I could do that by dragging it to a new location. So, for example, I could click…
