- If I started reading a copy of Shakespeare's famous play "Macbeth" with no pictures to a kindergarten class I wouldn't expect them to pay attention. If I provide content to neurodiverse people without compensating for how they prefer to get information I might just lose their attention as quickly as a preschooler listening to "Macbeth". Your neurodiverse colleagues, customers, and friends have unique and valuable perspectives, but if they aren't able to get your message you may lose the benefit of their contribution. In this lesson I'll share three tips for shaping your messages for a neurodiverse audience. A neurodiverse person is anyone whose brain functions differently. This can affect several things like how sociable they are, how they learn, or their attention span.
