Well, with just a little Sunday planning, you'll have a dramatically more productive week ahead using what one study named the number one most effective productivity tool. It's called timeboxing. Here's how it works, why it works, and what you'll discover when using it. First, how it works, timeboxing takes the classic to-do list and reimagines it by focusing that to-do list and calendarizing it in chunks of time or timeboxes that you commit to on a calendar. So you assign a fixed period of time to a to-do list item, schedule it, and stick to it. Here's a simple example. As I look to the week ahead, I start with a prioritized to-do list for each day.
