He was the king of B budget movies. He started half of Hollywood there. Jack Nicholson got his first acting role there. Jim Cameron got his first directing role there, and I was there just a couple years after Cameron, and I was hired as construction coordinator. Two weeks, later I was made art director on my very first Hollywood project. So prop, set decorating, all those worked under me, and it was great. I was enjoying it, and there's a visual storytelling of what you put on a set that tells who the characters are.
