- Women empowering other women may seem like a given, but in practice, it's not always that straightforward. Examples are all around us. The mommy wars that pit working moms and stay at home moms against each other, the queen bee phenomenon where women in positions of power undermine other women's success. Women's communities can be fraught with tension and even hostility. In this lesson, you will learn why this divisive dynamic occurs in women's communities and how you can bring together a group that should be united, not divided, against gender inequality. Women hold a multitude of diverse identities, whether it's a demographic like your race, or role you hold in society, like your parental status or political affiliation.
