- We all have power. You have power. And to use your power to help other women achieve their goals is fundamental to empowering others. In this lesson, you will learn specific ways that you can empower other women by serving as an ally. You may be thinking, but wait, isn't it only men who can serve as allies to women? Not at all. No matter what stage of life and career you're in, you can be an ally because you have sources of power and influence that can help women who don't have those same privileges. Your power and influence are rooted in an aspect of your identity and can come from many sources, including your title at work, your race, or even your years of experience.
