- Storytelling is such a powerful leadership tool. I mean, who doesn't like a good story? I think about like from childhood hearing stories and they taught me something. They led me to a place, they helped me escape. They made me excited and so like when you think about storytelling and leadership, they do the same thing. They make people excited. They take them to a place, they show them what's possible without them being there yet. It's just, it's such a powerful tool. It's a tool to encode purpose into everyday decisions. A compelling story has characters, conflict and a clear path to resolution all anchored in the vision and its tangible outcomes. It helps humans reconcile trade-offs, see the impact on customers and colleagues, and commit to risky moves only when necessary.
