Reverse-engineer the target outcome
- Imagine standing before the key decision makers in your company about to give a presentation that's both critical for your business needs and also challenging in terms of topic. Well, you can't effectively story tell without clearly knowing your end destination first. In this moment, you must influence them towards only one target outcome. In the next few minutes, I'll guide you on how to reverse engineer the target outcome of your presentation, making sure every word you speak drives towards that objective. There are three core elements to help you put this into action. The first core element is top-down storytelling. Begin with the end in mind. Ask yourself, "What's the ultimate goal of my presentation? What is the one core outcome I need to achieve to be able to move forward?"
