Develop relatable characters
So when you're crafting your narratives, when you're crafting your stories for your trainings, you want to include a relatable character. There's so many trainings, so many videos that are essentially instruction manuals, you know, black text on white screen, slides with bullet points. But who is this affecting? Put someone in there, put a character in. A relatable character carries this narrative from start to finish. Because if the learner can't see themselves in the story that you're crafting, if they can't see what's in it for them, if they can't see themselves in this person who's going through this journey and can't go along on the journey themselves, then the story doesn't work. So putting a character in the story that you're crafting and showing the learner what's in it for them and showing how it reduces friction in this character's life.
