- [Instructor] Now that we have gone through the framework, we are ready for some next steps. But before we get there, let's take a look at where we've been in this course. So as a review, we introduced the concept of inversion of control and the IoC container within Spring, we discussed configuring that IoC with JavaConfig. We then talked about component scanning with a little bit of a discussion of auto-configuration. We then fundamentally discussed the Spring lifecycle. This is probably the most important topic in this course in my opinion. We spent a lot of time talking about how Spring actually operates at startup, use, and destruction. We then walked through aspecting, which has actually been removed from the certification exam. But it's a very important skill to have despite the fact that it doesn't work with GraalVM.
