- [Instructor] Now, let's take a look into routing electrical wires within our 3D assembly here. Notice, other times this may fall into a different department such as the harness design team, or the electrical design team. Perhaps doing this on the 2D side of things and so on. But we do actually have the capabilities to do this in Solidworks 3D as well. It's also important to note that Solidworks actually has a number of different methods and tools for electrical wiring. For example, Solidworks Electrical 3D is an add-on product that can help you with electrical wiring. However, this, of course, requires you to purchase an additional add-on license. Solidworks Routing functionality can also help us with our wiring, but requires a Solidowrks Premium license. And, of course, both of those come in with a price tag. Now, the method that I'm going to run through here, however, can actually be done on any standard license of Solidworks. So, note here that, first I've thrown in a little bit…
