Generally not bad, but I find myself stopping at different points and trying to understand the course content. Some of it is just wrong; descriptions of dependencies in onion architecture, for example... that's not what inversion of control means, not at all. In fact, by the description, it's a violation of the interface segregation principle. Generally not bad. I learned some details of some things that I proceeded to look up - so that was valuable. There are areas that made me raise my eyebrow though. A lot of answers are more opinionated than realistic; for example, if your existing system doesn't have a consistent architecture.. "just add one". Sometimes it's not that simple. Strangler fig and other replacement patterns weren't touched. SPA frameworks weren't touched (big one), nor were web assembly frameworks. FWIW.

Course details
As a developer, you're ultimately building software to solve problems for your users. But a successful application also needs to be easy for you and other developers to work with. Enter software architecture patterns. These trusted solutions allow you to translate complex architectural problems to recognizable patterns. In this course, instructor Peter Morlion covers a variety of the most well-known software architecture patterns, showing you how to apply the correct architecture to new systems and recognize patterns in existing systems. Peter goes over system patterns such as microservices. He also covers application patterns like event sourcing, as well as UI patterns like model-view-controller (MVC). Along the way, he shares pros and cons that help you determine which patterns to use.
