Improving the accessibility of marketing
(upbeat music) - Improving the accessibility of your communications is possible when you're accounting for a more diverse range of perspectives and lived experiences. Creating social media content that is accessible to people with disabilities starts with knowing what features are available and using them effectively and consistently. Each of the major social networks offers accessibility features to varying degrees, like closed captioning to transcribe audio and tools, to enter alternative texts to describe visuals. While there's certainly more work to be done to improve the accessibility of these social media platforms, technology like auto captioning capabilities provided by YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and others can make it easier for businesses to develop more inclusive content.
