(upbeat music) - [Instructor] Pride Month for the LGBTQ+ community means many things. Occurring in June every year, it's a celebration of equality and visibility, a time to reflect on the history of the movement towards equal rights and a reminder that there's more progress to be made. Brands have an obligation to communicate their support of the LGBTQ+ community and an opportunity to show how they're taking action to uplift these groups, and social media is the ideal place to do so. (upbeat music) - [Kyle] One of the really positive aspects of social media is that it does foster a sense of community, which is really important when we're thinking about LGBT+ youth, for example, who haven't come out yet, or those living in regions where their rights are not protected.
