So next I'm going to introduce Snowflake's three-tier architecture to you. And I'm going to use a useful analogy, which is a postal service. And the reason why I do this is to try to help solidify these concepts in your mind. It's really important that you remember the purpose of each of the three layers the database storage layer, the query processing layer, and the cloud services layer. I'm going to introduce them here at a high level. And then in the next couple of slides just give you a little primer on what each one is. Just to note, we'll be going into a lot more detail in this domain for the database storage layer and in the next domain for the virtual warehouse and query processing layer. I won't specifically be going into lots of detail around cloud services, but I will cover what each of the components do, and that will be more than enough for the certification itself.
