- [Instructor] Accessibility testing is central to successful web development. It's also not something we do naturally so it has to be built into our practice and a conscious choice that we make all the time. There are a lot of tools and techniques for applying accessibility testing to your practice enough for an entire course. So for now, I'll point you to some immediately available tools to get you started on that journey. First off, get used to navigating your creations, using your keyboard only. That means turning off your mouse or track pad or putting it somewhere out of reach and actually using only your keyboard to navigate through what you built on the web. This can be quite daunting at first because it's not something we're used to and we quickly discovered that a lot of the things that we assume work really well don't work really well when we have other input methods.
