- Now, here's some good news, bad news for ya. The good news is that it is now possible to add simple charts and graphs onto share point pages without importing them from some other tool or taking a screenshot and inserting it as a picture. The bad news, well, it's still pretty limited. Let's take a look. On part page we will click the plus sign and we'll open this up and scroll down to business intelligence and say quick chart, and this will add the chart part. Now, we'll go ahead and click the pencil to edit this, so here is the first major limitation. You can create only one of two kinds of charts. You can create a column chart or you can create a pie chart, that's it. Now, those are the two most popular kinds of charts so it's not terrible, but note there are no compound charts available at this time. The next limitation is what you can use for a data source.
