The movies in this chapter focus on how we customize the presentation layer of SharePoint pages and web parts. I'm going to begin with our communication site. So I click to go back to SharePoint. And now we're going to click on "Wind Showcase" to load the site that we quickly created earlier. Remember that everything in here is really out of the box. The only thing that we spent much time changing is the footer at the bottom of the screen. This page has a type of web part that's called a hero web part. This is a three-layer hero web part, and each layer includes an image and includes text and a call-to-action link. That's the basic construction of a hero web part. The image can be on the left or in the second layer. We see one on the right and the third back on the left again. And below that three-layer hero web part, we get a showcase for images and image gallery, and we can also place items in the gallery.
