You can also create a list from scratch in SharePoint Online. And so if you have a short list, for example, you need a list that has three or four columns and five or six rows of data, perhaps a list of approved companies or partners, you could create that from scratch if it doesn't already exist. And you simply go to new list and choose blank list. I'm not going to keep this around for long, so I'm simply going to type demo list. And when I do something for a demo, often put delete me in the description so I don't forget. I'm not going to add it to site navigation, I simply need to delete it. But I can click "Create", and I will get a new list with nothing in it. All it has is the required title column. I will then need to add more columns and I can then enter data. This is only used for very small lists, because if you had data somewhere and it wasn't in Excel or in a CSV, but it was a table in Microsoft Word, for example, or somewhere else, you could always copy it and paste it…
