- [Instructor] There are a few other site settings that you should know about as a SharePoint admin. Let's select our site again and click Edit in the menu bar. On the General tab of the Settings dialogue, you can edit the name of the site by clicking the Edit link. Make your changes in the next window, then click Save. You can also change the site address, the URL, but be very, very, very careful with this. The good news is that if you change the site address here, SharePoint automatically creates a redirect that shunts users to the new location. The bad news is that it has the potential for breaking a lot of other things. Links to Microsoft Forms or OneNote, custom forms using Power Apps, List View, Web Parts, and other sites, and a bunch of other things may fail after an address change.
